As the title reveals all pictures here are from Denmark, and they are all taken by me, and copyrighted by me. Over time I will have a collection of very different photographs, which in their own way describe part of the country, people and culture of Denmark.

In the town of Roskilde 40 kilometers west of Copenhagen there is a Viking Ship Museum, called Vikingeskibsmuseet (homepage: http://www.vikingeskibsmuseet.dk/). There they build old ships the same way, the vikings did. You can see a lot of different sea wessels, including viking longships.Labels: book1, Denmark, picture, Roskilde, viking
